How to Choose a Country for a Telegram Virtual Number

Updated:

A Telegram virtual number is bought per country, and every country has its own price and stock. This guide explains what the list shows, how to find a country quickly and what to check before you tap buy.

What the list shows for each country

Every country appears with its flag, its dialing code and its price in dollars. Next to the price you can see whether numbers are available, so you know before buying whether the purchase can go through.

Three ways to find a country

Use the search box and type the country name, its two-letter code (for example uz) or its dialing code (for example +998). Any of the three finds the same country, which is handy when you only remember the code.

Prices and stock change

Each country has its own price, and countries, prices and stock change constantly. The section is also paused from time to time, so the live list on the order page is always the one to trust, not an older screenshot or a remembered price.

Before you buy

  • Check the price, the stock and your wallet balance together.
  • These numbers can only be used to create or activate a Telegram account, not for SMS or other apps.
  • Be ready to enter the number in Telegram and request the code right after buying, because there is nothing to show until Telegram sends one.
  • Never share the login code or the two-step password with anyone.

After the purchase

Log into Telegram with the number. The code appears on the order page automatically, together with the two-step password if the number has one. If a purchase fails, the amount is refunded to your wallet automatically, and every number you bought stays listed under “Orders”.
