How to Get a Telegram Account Without Your Own Number

Updated:

Telegram needs a phone number to create an account. If you don't want to use your personal SIM — for a second account, a work channel or a test profile — a virtual number is the usual answer. Here is how it works and what to check first.

Why Telegram asks for a phone number

A Telegram account is tied to a phone number: you enter it, Telegram sends a login code, and the code proves you control the number. There is no sign-up with only an email address.

A virtual number is simply a number that is not tied to a SIM card in your pocket. You can receive the one-time login code for it, but nothing physical is involved.

When a virtual number makes sense

People typically use one when they want to keep their personal number private or separate their accounts:

  • a second account for a business channel or community
  • a separate profile for testing a bot or a channel setup
  • keeping a personal number out of a public-facing account

How it works step by step

On YoozMarket the flow is short and every step is visible in your account:

  • Create a free account and add funds to your wallet if needed.
  • Open “New order”, choose Virtual numbers and pick a country. The price and available stock are shown before you buy.
  • Buy the number — it is delivered right away and listed under “Orders”.
  • Enter the number in the Telegram app and request the login code. When it arrives, it appears on the order page.

What to check before you buy

These numbers are for Telegram accounts only, not for SMS verification on other apps or websites. Request the code in Telegram first: until Telegram sends one, there is nothing to show on the order page.

If the code does not arrive, wait a few minutes and try again. A failed purchase is refunded to your wallet automatically; if a number never receives a code, open a support ticket from your dashboard. Never share the login code or the two-step password with anyone — support will never ask for them.
